Composite Veneers - Smile for life Patient-Centred Artistic Dentistry
Helping to improve our patients’ lives with ONE SMILE AT A TIME.
The aesthetic assessment is complex and requires considerable experience and training. When choosing your cosmetic dentist, ask about his/her training and request to see examples of similar cases performed by this dentist and not pictures copied from other websites. You should ask for your options of treatment and discuss advantages and disadvantages of each procedure. Dr Nalbandian will help you decide the best treatment that suits your requirements.
Preserving the tooth enamel is the key with current aesthetic dentistry. Reduced tooth enamel affects the bonding to the tooth and the longevity of any restorations. Composite veneers are applied and the procedure does not require cutting a sound tooth structure. It can be used on people of all ages and the effect is immediate. It is non invasive and relatively inexpensive because there are no laboratory fees, but the improvement is dramatic.
We have treated over 1000 patients with these cosmetic procedures.
These two patients had immediate improvement using composite veneers directly placed over upper ten teeth in one visit. The results are dramatic.

Improve lip support, lip thickness, tooth emergence profile and broader smile line.

The Aesthetic-Restorative Dilemma
Which is the most important: the longevity of the restoration or the tooth that holds the restorations? There is nothing permanent in dentistry. All restorations fail in time, however composite veneers can be resurfaced numerous times, because the underlying enamel is not affected. In a similar way we can use thin porcelain veneers in selected cases, again with minimal intervention dentistry (please see the section on Ultra-thin porcelain laminate veneers)
